ABM 2009 Conference

Feedback from attendees at the ABM 2009 conference at Crown in Melbourne is very positive. The agenda was tight, packed full of reseller contributions as well as marketing and sales information. New features of ABM 2010 were displayed and wish-list items were also voted on.

It was announced that founder Paul Hayes has sold AAS to Chris Heysen and stepped down as a director. Paul will stay on in largely a software testing role. Chris has secured investment to further develop the ABM market with more developers coming on-board with a tester and support start. We wish Chris well in his new role.

Attendees took time to relax in the evenings and catch up with colleagues in the industry who they don't see so often.

Paul Geaney from DP Systems in Ireland was also at the conference and contributed both to content of some sessions and much laughter in the evenings.

Friday night saw a contingent bowling. Richard Goodwin topped the ratings, with Laura Wing closing in fast at the end.
